I wrote copy for the President's doctor
One of the craziest parts of starting a biz is working with clients whose businesses expose you to things way beyond your regular circle of influence.
My good friend, the great and powerful Daavi Gazelle, runs sales and marketing for his family business, coaching physicians with burnout, imposter syndrome, those looking to move into leadership, etc.
I wrote copy for him on a regular basis - sales pages for his own offers, cold email campaigns for the family biz, and a whole lotta persuasive reports that they used to help close clients between their discovery and sales calls.
It meant I was exposed to the sales process of a $100k+ a month coaching biz - which is insane considering I started my biz 2 years ago. To see what it takes to charge 4 to 5 figures per client and how dialled the sales process needs to be... not your average everyday shyt.
So when Daavi texted me and asked if I could write something persuasive for a former President's doctor that they were trying to close...
I honestly wasn't even shocked.
And I didn't even ask whether they closed. It's pretty much like clockwork over there.
Now, I could get arrogant and tell you it's all thanks to my copy, but the reality is that it ain't. But I can humbly report that Señor Gazelle regularly mentioned how my copy was helping them make a lot of money.
