I spent four figures for a follow
Online rules of reputation are often confused on Twitter.
You see the giga-creators with their hundreds of thousands of followers, and you want to be them. I see a horde of pawns, of which only a tiny percentage will buy, and an even smaller sliver you will ever work with.
Check this:
Who follows you is far more important than how many.
When I click on a profile, and they're followed by someone I respect... the respect rubs off.
"If so-and-so follows them, I must have missed a memo..."
We have so many decisions to make per day that we don't have time to vet each and every person we follow fully. A quick but effective proxy for this is to allow trusted and respected mutuals to do the vetting for you, which is where you can game the system.
Let's say you have two copywriters. They have the same number of followers... But one of them is followed by a creator doing $100k months who is well-known in the info space.
"Oh shyt, if X follows this guy, I'm hiring him."
This is the true meaning of "your network is your net worth." Friends work with friends, people who know you vouch for you, and people who've worked together successfully before will work together again. Why would you hire a new copywriter with zero vouches over your friend who has made you countless thousands of dollars?
You wouldn't.
No portfolio, no amount of testimonials from random clients, no nothing will win out against the power of the trusted vouch. On Twitter, the trusted vouch comes in the form of a follow.
This is just one of the many benefits I received when joining the great and powerful Ben Bader's mastermind a while back.
The info in there alone is worth many times the cost of admission... and the guest calls with the A-list of Money Twitter alone would cost you an arm and a leg to access by your lonesome.
But the hidden benefit is that you are on first-name terms with Ben and guys like him who are successfully doing what you want to do.

Please note that I get absolutely nothing if you join - I have no affiliate link. But tell Ben that yours truly sent you, and start leveraging the power of your network.
